Booking and Payment Policy

Booking
To secure your photography session, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 14 days before the session date.

Refunds and Cancellations
If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, please provide 48 hours' notice. Cancellations made less than 24 hours’ before the session will result in the forfeiture of your deposit. If we need to cancel for any reason, you will receive a full refund.

Ownership of Images
All photographs taken during your session remain the property of Claire Louise Photography. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the images for personal purposes.

Client Usage Rights
You may use the images for personal, non-commercial purposes, including printing and sharing on social media. Commercial use of the images (e.g., selling or using for advertisements) is prohibited without prior written consent.

Credit for Photos
If you share photos publicly, please credit Claire Louise Photography or Claire Louise Event Photography as the photographer where possible.

Model Release Policy

By booking a session with Claire Louise Photography or Claire Louise Event Photography, you grant us permission to use the photographs taken during your session for promotional purposes, including but not limited to use on our website, social media, and printed materials.

If you do not wish to allow us to use your images, please notify us in writing prior to the session, and we will respect your wishes.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, please provide 48 hours' notice. Cancellations made less than 24 hours’ before the session will result in the forfeiture of your deposit. If we need to cancel for any reason, you will receive a full refund.

If you need to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate you, subject to availability. A rescheduling fee may apply.

Delivery of Photos Policy

Delivery Method
We deliver your photos via a WeTransfer link, which you can access and download your images. USB drives are available upon request for an additional fee.

Delivery Timeframe
We aim to deliver images within 14 days of your session. This may vary during exceptionally busy periods.

Responsibility for Downloads
It is your responsibility to download and store the images from your online gallery. We are not liable for lost or deleted files.

Travel and Location Policy

For sessions held at a location outside our standard service area, travel fees may apply. Travel charges will be determined based on distance and location, and will be outlined before booking.

If the location requires permits or additional fees (e.g., park or event fees), these are the responsibility of the client.

Health and Safety Policy

We are committed to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all clients. If you have any specific health concerns or special requirements (e.g., allergies), please inform us prior to your session.

If you are feeling unwell or displaying symptoms of contagious illnesses (e.g., COVID-19), we ask that you reschedule your session for the safety of all parties involved.

Force Majeure Clause

We are not responsible for any delays or cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, illness, or government restrictions. In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule the session at the earliest available opportunity.
