Behind the Art
‘Behind the Art’ is an exhibition dedicated to the underrepresented artists of the Northeast.
These creatives represent a diverse spectrum of backgrounds and experiences, but they share a common dedication to what they do.
Each photograph captures the artists in their personal creative spaces, offering a glimpse into their unique environments and processes.
By showcasing their work and surroundings, the exhibition invites the community to connect with the artists on a deeper level.
It celebrates the richness of their contributions, highlighting the importance of art in enhancing local culture and fostering a vibrant creative community.
Claire is an established photographer based in Sunderland and is collaborating with Pink-Collar Gallery on this new and exciting project, ‘Behind the Art’. This exhibition celebrates a dynamic creative community of artists at work.
